This upscale bistro, which builds around the tastes of Mexico, Spain, and France, has moved from Madrona to a portion of the former location of Typhoon, below the Harbor Steps (the original location of Wild Ginger). Dulces started out many years ago from a bakery in West Seattle, and is now a somewhat pricey European style bistro, with white table cloths and piano bar. The bar is nothing particularly special, but we enjoyed the food and the service from bartender Annie.

Is the piano bar aspect of the bar all right? You didn't really mention the music. Is it fun, or is it kind of staid? I love piano bars, and I am thinking about checking this one out next month when I visit Seattle. But if you really don't think it's all that great, I am wondering if you have other recommendations for a good one. What is the best piano bar Seattle can give me?
We didn't see the piano bar in action, so I can't really comment here. I'm not a big piano bar fan, but the ones I prefer are old school -- El Gaucho, Daniels, etc.
